I'm anticipating that.  I believe a lot of people voted conservative 
because of the war rhetoric during the campaign.  The  commercials for 
the Repubs always included phrases like 'Will work with Pres. Bush to 
provide homeland security' or similar sounding phrases.  There we're 
able to paint Dems as anti-homeland security and unpatriotic.  When you 
can convice people that a Vietnam veteran is unpatriotic because he 
voted against the Bush's homeland security bill, I'd say, that's playing 
a major part in why people voted the way they did. Hopefully, this and a 
war won't be an issue next time.
