To what problem is not going to war a solution? Non-action means nothing changes, so no action means that nothing changes and that things continue how they are.
First we have to determine a problem: Iraq will not let weapons inspectors in to do their job. Previous and new UN resolutions state that Iraq cannot have certain weapons, the only way to determine whether or not they are following the law is to inspect. So how do we get inspectors back in? If you don't want to go to war that is fine, but that isn't a solution. Non action means to me that we take no action as in do nothing. Aggressive doesn't just mean war or military action, there can be aggressive negotiations. A solution offers a cure to a problem, Simply saying "no war" doesn't solve the problem. > The other side is that Dems get criticized for complaining about the war > and > not offering a solution. Not going to war is a solution. It's just that > people mistake non-action as a non-solution when in reality it is just > non-aggressive. > > -Kevin ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=5 Structure your ColdFusion code with Fusebox.
