ROFL! You may want to check on the name of the Party, its called the Liberal Party. Its a center moderate party. The left wing in Canada is the New Democratic Party. The right wing is represented by the National Alliance party (and the remnants of the Progressive Conservative party). All over the place is the Bloc Quebecois.
You need to get the facts correct. The LIberals are middle of the road, more like Democrats yes, but by no means what you would call liberal, to Canadians. Mind you compared to most political attitudes in the US, the National Alliance Party is more akin to the Democrats. The only groups that are akin to American conservatives are generally considered to be on the far right fringe in Canada.
