Not really, it is more of a "Someone else has this horrible affliction?"
There is just something wonderful about the smell of ozone and dust covered overheated silicon. It's nice to know there are others who are also mocked by friends and loved ones about plastic boxes older than the last girl I dated. I _love_ coming across a yard sale while driving the backroads, and seeing a half closed box overflowing with cables stuck under a rickety card table, and when you finally get close enough to read the writing on the ripped and curled masking tape it is marked $5.00 for the box.
