Objectivism is all about the individual...not the corporation. I think you are letting todays corporate America slant your view of what Ayn's philosophy was.
How long though do you think before this so called "dead end" actually dies? Even in the very first democracy in Greece, the more money a citizen gave to the government the more their vote counted. Money for power has been the definition of the word Democracy since day 1...the US had no part in inventing it. I'm sorry but, America is the finest example of democracy, and capitalism that exists today. -- jon mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Monday, December 16, 2002, 8:12:39 AM, you wrote: BA> my issue isn't with the leaders of industry, tim -- the process and BA> environment is already there to be used by whosoever can come along and BA> make use of it. my issue is with the people who promote the status quo and BA> capitalism as a "natural order" or "the noblest" way as ayn rand does. i BA> don't know what "feel good" socialist drivel you're referring to. do you BA> think noam chomsky is "feel good" drivel? or are you referring to the BA> world of fiction ala ayn rand?
