Objectivism is all about the individual...not the corporation. I think
you are letting todays corporate America slant your view of what
Ayn's philosophy was.

How long though do you think before this so called "dead end" actually
dies? Even in the very first democracy in Greece, the more money a
citizen gave to the government the more their vote counted. Money for
power has been the definition of the word Democracy since day 1...the
US had no part in inventing it.
I'm sorry but, America is the finest example of democracy, and
capitalism that exists today.
