Back in the mediocre old days of working at Office Depot, I almost always
tried to sell people on the wondrous benifits of owning an Epson printer.
Good quality. Fewer problems than HP. Durable as hell. Ink tends to be
cheaper than other brands (but still expensive, as ink always is). I've
owned Epsons since my family's first computer (80x86 with an Epson LQ-800
dot-matrix). In fact, we got that printer in 1986 and I threw it in a
dumpster in 1998 -- it was still working but it was expensive to find
ribbons and continuous-feed paper. Plus, it was painfully loud and produced
dot-matrix quality prints. :-)
