In general, you are correct, however, often times the mind will push to do things the body was not designed to.
Was the body designed to be outside in 7 degree temperatures? Mine sure as hell wasn't, that is why I bought a coat :). However we adapt and find things ways to do things want to do. Different types of sexual positions are an example of this. The mind wants something, and determines a way to make it happen. But if the body was not designed to operate that way, then damage is possible. We are a strange creature, our needs, wants, ideas, and other traits are not found in any other single animal, just us. Yea dolphins do this, and apes do that, but they don't have the internet, and with that we can think up some crazy stuff. While the mind may see it as natural, the machine that is the body wasn't designed to do it, it will adapt, and will rebuild and repair its self, and the mind will learn, then the mind will make a choice, are the rewards greater than the costs, if they are it will keep pushing the body, sometimes to a point where it breaks, take smoking or alcohol, in some people the mind and the body can both get addicted, and then the person cannot stop, and forces damage on the body, sometimes to the point of liver cancer or lung cancer, or get killed a drunk driving accident. These are natural occurrences based on the routes we take, however because the design of the body was not made to do it, something will give. Hopefully people take proper precautions, in all risky choices. >I suppose it depends on how you look at it. > >The (human) body is designed to receive more pleasure from >the act than most animals.
