Universal Healthcare is an interesting debate. Let me know what the resolve is.
I don't think western medicine achieves what we need it to achieve regardless of the nature of its politics. Some thoughts/questions... Can universal healthcare be cheaper than market driven healthcare? (total societal cost) Is class structure important to a society? Does that/should that impact access to healthcare? I believe our healthcare system needs to be more proactive promoting healthy living. We medicate too much. So not only do I subsidize all these morons, I have to listen to their opinions on how I live my life because their insurance rates, that I subsidize even though during my adult life I have never had the government pay for an medical coverage, just might go up.
