> Can universal healthcare be cheaper than market driven healthcare? (total
societal cost)

How does one quantify societal cost? How would you measure it? I can tell
you that the monetary cost would be much higher with universal health care.

>Is class structure important to a society?

A society or this society? I don't htink that class plays as large of a
part as some would like to make out. You can be born in pverty and rise to
whatever state your able to, pretty much freely. I am not saying there is
no bias in this country, just not more than anywhere else. A person of
ability will always rise to the occasion.

>Does that/should that impact access to healthcare?

Again I don't think this is a class issue as much as it is a monetary one.
Also how do you place a value on life. I htnk we can all agree that not all
life has the same value. I mean Hitler or Jefferson? Who would you rather
have alive? Now we need to narrow the scope. Window washer or doctor?
Whose life is more valuable? Well the person whom is found to be more
valuable makes more money, and is able to afford better health care. See I
thnk this is where the dfferent sides start to break apart. I think all
things have value. I think that value determines what place in life you
will take, and all the attendant luxories and benefits you will get from it.
Where as I think the more socialist views think that simply because you are
alive you have the same value as I do. I cannot agree with that.
