I agree. I know one of the writers (Doris Egan) and the things that she tells me
are highly amusing. One of the little things in the series (at least in the
first season) was the undercurrent of homo-erotic tension between Clark and Lex.
The quivering lip on Lex when Clark yelled at him, etc. Well, it was put in
specifically and actually ads to the show. Also makes for some great fun when
you MST the episodes. :)
