That's a sad opinion to hear from a New Yorker. The truth of the matter is that there aren't a lot of jobs in DC either. At least, there are not a lot advertised. I saw a site on someone's blog where they did some statistics on keywords posted on Monster. There were a lot for C++, a lot less for java, and far, far less for Coldfusion.

In NY you need to be part of an agency to get a foot into the companies here. A no nothing CF programmer can get a great salary if he's an agency man while a god of CF can't do jack unless he sells his soul. Sucks to be in NY. :( ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=5 This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
