Or better an 18" LCD - I've got two on them on my desk in dual head mode for 1024x2560. The picture is clearer/larger and with two you get more space than with ultra-high res CRTs.
Very nice. Both displays together use less power and desktop space than ONE of my old Nokia 21" tubes. I picked mine up from TigerDirect.com (although the models I have aren't there anymore). You can get two 18.1" LCDs for less than a grand now. A lot more expensive than CRTs, but no longer 5 or 6 times as much. I'm annoyed that they don't have my models any longer... "NeoView" - complete with S-Video, RCA inputs, a four port USB hub, built in speakers AND a TV Tuner... So they can double as semi-portable video displays, video game displays, or TVs.
