The moral justification is just added fuel and far form the sole
justification.

The simple matter of fact is, Saddam HAS wmd, of this there is NO DOUBT.
Don't bother talking about weapons inspectors and how they haven't found
anything, they simply can't find anything the Iraqi's don't want to
volunteer, in fact they should definitely NOT be called inspectors, they
can really only verify what they are told by the Iraqi regime, which is
basically a whole lot of BS.

He has been ordered by the UN the get rid of his weapons in 18 security
council resolutions over the last 12 years, he has done only the bare
minimum to avoid being attacked. There is undoubtedly a systematic
culture of deceit, lies and procrastination.

We should be in no doubt, Saddam WILL use these weapons when it suits
him and with Israel also in the region this is a very, very dangerous
situation.

imho the UN cannot allow this guy to continually defy the security
council as it has done for 12 years, trust me there are lots more rogue
states out there that will be watching this situation closely, if the
French and Russians do let the Evil SOB off the hook, then what do you
think these countries will do next? And tbh I am more than a little bit
suspicious about the motives of the French and Russians.

Yes, war is wrong, war is horrific and should be avoided at almost all
costs, note, not at all costs. Not when the alternative could be so
unimaginable. Wanting peace is all well and good, we all do, but peace
at all costs?

that must always depend on what they are asking, as it stands at the
moment, if they attack without the 2nd resolution its breaking
international law. Is it right for us to do so simply because we are too
strong to be brought to task?

To a degree i agree with this, its like a big bluffing game at the
moment, its right to get rid of saddam. It cannot be right to kill
civilians and invade Iraq in order to do so.

any arguments used in order to justify invading iraq morally, are more
justified in other countries. I.E go liberate the tibetans from the
chinese.

can someone enlighten me

If the US can go alone on Iraq, how come we're (the UK) involved in the
first place?
