: for a power machine right? Don't go with Apple on a windows network. The : two are incompatible and you will need extra hardware to make it : work (from : what I have been told, this is second hand information).
I've not seen good software for administering an Apple Airport from a PC. This is why I suggested getting one /if/ the wife got an iBook or somesuch. However, I'm pretty sure that there's no problem using PCs on the network itself. *shrugs* I can check with my boss (who has installed hybrid wireless networks) if this is under serious consideration. However, given that 802.11b is a standardized protocol and 802.11g almost is, I don't think there should be a problem. --BenD ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=5 This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
