But there is almost never such a think as undefeatable hard proof that is always reliable. Confessions can be coerced, video can be doctored and faked, DNA can be incorrect do to mistakes in collection and/or processing. and on and on and on.
Yes you can point to a specific case or criminal and say "What about this one...or this one...or this one?" But then what about the one where a mistake was made at the DNA lab or the technician just out an out lied? Reference the recently disclosed improprieties at the FBI lab in the mid to late 90's.
