Where was the UN when the whole Balkans mess happened? Why did Nato have to go in without them? http://www.msnbc.com/news/887795.asp?0si=- The UN is NOT the sole reigning world government that can say yes and no to everything. If it was, then I'd be very scared just on their record on Israel and their appeasement of dictators. The problem with the UN is one of self interest. The US has already found crates from German chemical factories though they have not found their contents. France's position in the war may easily be explained by this Op-Ed investigation: http://www.nytimes.com/2003/03/20/opinion/20SAFI.html Everyone who makes money off of Iraq doesn't want it invaded. (and yes, everyone who wants to make money off of Iraq is invading). Lets see the UN step into the North Korea nuclear issue if they're so even handed an organization. All I see on that is the member nations saying its America's problem. What's the difference? They don't get paid from North Korea and it's not near them. Hypocritical schmucks (The UN members).
