That has been my observation as well.

Many, not all, when presented with a valid argument regarding something the 
administration has done, can only resort to the Bush was not elected argument.

When asked, so it would be OK if Gore had done it, they still don't have an 
answer, it is silly on the side of the people who use that argument, but it 
doesn't help anything.

Even if you don't have a reason, that is fine, just say, I don't like the 
idea and be done with, you are entitled to your opinion, and you don't have 
to back it up, but if you choose to back it up with a completely irrelevant 
argument then you only hurt yourself.
