Hello Adam,

I was only 20 we I made the decision not to jump, but kida figured if the
ONE person I'd decided to jump with had lost a student that wasn't a good
sign. Your unfortunate story brought back the 'thoughts' I'd had about
hitting earth. I'm glad your pilot was only kidding. but did he really need
to make it any scarier?

Funny you should mention it, our oldest daughter Tiffany(11) caught the
bouquet at Katie's (Wonderful wife!) sister's wedding about a week
ago! Our youngest daughter Shelby is just 5 and stuck in the middle is
Tyler, our computer game freak(little me) and I wouldn't risk losing a
minute with them to go jumping...regardless of how much FUN it sounds like!

Not that I'm even a big wimp, had to give up flying after testing the
limits of a utility rated aircraft once too many times ..got careless after
almost 700 loops...ended up pulling out of loop (steep dive*) at just under
220mph from 10,000 feet with just over a 1,000ft to spare..a dated 1969
Cardinal 177 meant to do about half that speed.

See ya in the sky's in about 15 years, but I wont be jumping out of the plane!

Kind Regards,
Mike Randolph

* Illegal to intentionally pitch the nose more than 10 degrees in other
than a stunt rated plane...BAD mike..
