Not harsh at all. Not nearly as harsh as the Nixon comparison.

Here is what I see. There are people out their who truly hate GWB. Hate
him with equal or greater passion then those who hate the Clintons. They
see everything he does as something evil. They (you?) truly believe:
1. He stole the election
2. Forced the supreme court to do his bidding
3. Caused 9/11 or at best, let it happen through sheer incompetence
4. Crashed the stock market
5. Forced California into an absolutely stupid energy policy
6. Created Enron to make money for his friends from California's ignorance
7. Lead of the states into bankruptcy
8. Come on, I know there is more here, everyone chip in.....

Sorry, I just don't buy it. And by continuing to support such a ridiculous
list of accomplishments completely undermines areas of real concern.

Sorry if that response of mine seemed a bit harsh. I just recall strongly
arguing about the red-herring argument about the WMD well before the war
started, but I was repeatedly derided and given the brush-off. Now, I'm just
generally sitting back and eating my popcorn with a bit of wistful sadness
for the gullibility of the US people.

Bottom line: GWB makes Nixon look honest.
