No the application you build can be used by users on multiple platforms and
browsers, but the application can only live on a Windows, IIS box.

Large on one end, small on the other.

running this thread together in my mind with the Lindows one, it occurs to
me that it is strategically significant that MS has this great
cross-platform web service and application development system that will only
run on IIS. Talk about a way to hang on to their share of the server
