Compound interest earned off complex financial products sold to multinational institutions, at a predictable margin and return load measured over decades. That's an oversimplifcation, but the venture capital scheme is so remote from the actual economy tax measures simply do not affect it. If people have more money, the government makes more money. If people do not have money, the banks make more money. But on a gigantic scale.
