(devil's advote mode on, please don't have an infaction over this) well there are some opinions I find it hard to let pass by. I will confess to being mouthy :) but eh, I don't really quarrel with the designation so much as how he arrived at it. If left is usually liberal and right is usually conservative, I am not sure that allowing pollution is conservative. It certainly doesnt do much for preserving the status quo. Nor am I sure that jumping into war is conservative :) look what it's doing to our deficit and our foreign policy. If right means giving stuff to the rich and left means opposing this then yeah I err to the left, yeah.
