Marx -> Lenin -> Stalin -> Stanley

Ideals, doctrines, even constitutions are not a guarantee of rights. Case in
point: the soviet constitution of 1917 (I think that was the year) was one
of the most progressive, liberal platforms ever. It called for the
abolishment of capital punishment, forbade the existence of secret police,
called for freedom of the press at a scale unheard of even in the U.S., and
allowed for as many political parties as there are people to join them. It
got the poor people who believed in that kind of stuff pogroms, purges,
thought police, children narcing on their parents, disenfranchisement of
entire nations and millions dead at the hands of the government. These ideas
about communal living you espouse are very close to those of the early
soviets.

So, you probably know what I have to say about your doctrine:

The Stanley Doctrine

-- Free Press is awesome
-- Willingness to use capital punishment to deal with crimminals
-- Enthusiastic embrace of military veterans
-- As many parties as possible (both political and celebrational)
-- Communal living is fine, but not required.
