I disagree. I am not saying it is wrong to object to serving. I am saying it is wrong to not respect those who have sacrificed everything so those who do object can. That is all.

Its great to know that there are those who would gladly persecute others based on their beliefs. Genuine conscientious objectors would fall under your rubric. People like Ghandi, Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King etc have those beliefs. There are other groups like the Mennonites who also have very strong religious beliefs against serving in the military.
