Yes, if you take verses out of context, you can twist anything, even a Holy book. It 
doesn't mean that that's what the book said or meant. Context is so important.

That's the wonder of the human being -- God gave us an intellect and let _us_ choose 
how to use it.

Although here we could get into a whole new argument on what you call the Bible. I 
hold only by the Jewish Bible, which does not include what the Christians call the 
"New Testament." But I don't really want to go there -- do you?
