Broadband and unlimited access is much the norm here in the UK from Scotland to Ireland to the South shore as related to me by people I've met since coming here, and by peeps I have met on a community forum I belong to that has primarily UK members. In fact, the local cable company, has recently offered a 2MB connection (which averages 4MB). The costs are pretty fair. From �25-50 a month.
I also know of several European peeps that also have BB or unlimited acccess. Obvioulsy can't speak for the likes of Zimbabwe and Russia, etc. HTH.
