Well with me, the big wigs want me to get it. If anything I guess just
to say that they have so many of us certified on staff. 

Me personally, I don't really put much into them. I could have easily
gotten my MCSE by now as well but since we all have our "this MCSE was
so bad" stories. 

I know my skills and I'm confident in them. Should I ever seek other
employment, and some company would not hire me because I don't have a
piece of paper, I would not want to work for them. You are hiring me and
my technical skills, not my test taking skills.

To employers around here it doesn't mean much. I have the 5.0
certification, it helped me land the job I have, but it doesn't mean
anything else.

CF development is going way down in this town, right now the only people
doing CF are the same people who have been doing it for a while.
Everybody is going to .NET or Java, if you don't know one ofthose two
languages, you're screwed.
