I concur with Erika. It is a very well written Junior (not quite kids) book. I'm not sure if it measures with Lord of the Rings as suggested but still a very enjoyable series of books to read. I would compare it with other classics of it's class: Narnia Series comes to mind, James and the Giant Peach, Great Brain series, other's I can't pull the names out of my head.
I think some of the phenomena is that it has been some time since an young adult's book has been so well written that adults could enjoy it with out going "OH PLEASE". Recent works seem to be mostly along the lines of Babysitter High novellas. -------------- Ian Skinner Web Programmer BloodSource Sacramento, CA -----Original Message----- From: William Wheatley [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, June 23, 2003 1:52 PM To: CF-Community Subject: Re: Harry Potter Puts a cap in e-commerces rump!
