Now I am not arguing this, I am only asking a question... Won't the boat displace less water around it without the weight of the suitcase? But then again if you have lead ball and a ceramic ball the same size they would raise the water level the same even thought the lead ball would weigh more. I don't know, it is interesting to think about (for a few minutes). Actually, the water level might change depending on the density of the suitcase. If the suitcase floats or is nutrally boyant, then the water level stays the same. If it sinks, the water level drops because it displaces less water than it did while in the boat. --Ben ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=5 Signup for the Fusion Authority news alert and keep up with the latest news in ColdFusion and related topics. http://www.fusionauthority.com/signup.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
