My mother seemed to regret having the knee surgery but she is not the most rational of people. I suspect that now that the healing is done and she is no longer in a wheelchair she might feel differently.
I actually have a similar question. I have one doctor recommending I look at gall bladder surgery and another telling me it is not necessary. Of course I have to balance out the pros and cons myself but what I can't seem to find information on are the cons, if any, of the surgery. The posts I made on medical forums are getting answers that either say there is no point in doing this for small stones, or else gee I personally am glad I had this surgery done. Which is about the information I already have. I also don't see why, if the problem is a stone, they have to take to whole organ out... why not just the stone? I would be interested in any opinions, information or folk history :) Dana On Tue, 01 Jul 2003 15:55:12 +0000, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Thanks, George > > BTW on this topic your use of "snipped" made me wince! > <g> > > -Ben > >> > Ben said: >> > ... snipped ... >> > But, "eventually" will need hip replacement.
