yeah the "traditional" adfare on the Internet doesn't really do it. I guess 
in a branding sense maybe - look at X.10. maybe if you bundled the free 
internet service with stuff, or marketed as a tool to better reach companies 
customers. ie grocery stores, ebay, car service stations etc.

And it can only last if the ads are successful, I knew people who were able
to install things that would circumvent the ads.
