When my kids started asking questions, I said I would tell them anything in 
general they wanted to know, but not anything specific about Mommy and Daddy, 
because that was private - not wrong, just private. 

My son (forget at what age) said he had seen a copy of Playboy at a friend's 
house, did I know about the magazine? Said I had a couple of boxes of old ones 
in the attic, and he was welcome to look through them if he kept them away from 
his mom and sister. Told him that a lot of boys and men enjoy looking at 
pictures of women, but most girls and women don't.

We've always treated sex as a normal part of life, but something private - like 
you don't walk down the street naked.

Seems to have worked.
