You're looking to create online albums and the occasional print, yeah? For good 
bang/buck ratio, check out either FujiFilm or Pentax.  Nikon and Canon make really 
nice cameras, but you'll pay extra for the name. Buddy has the Canon G3 and the 
quality is remarkable. I'm biased against sony, I've found their consumer level 
electronics to have degraded in quality quite significantly over the years. I've had 
three unrelated products from them poop out on me shortly after their waranties were 
up.

I currently own the Pentax Optio S, it's the tiniest 3.2MP I've seen, and it still 
manages to fit a 3x optical zoom. My big thing is being able to slip the camera into 
my pocket and not worry about where I bring it. If it's too bulky to ever want to 
bring it anywhere, you'll miss all the best snaps. It also acts as a dictaphone which 
lets me record down all of my conspiracy theories when they're fresh in my head :O
