Raymond -

No organization is necessarily evil, but (in most matters where large
numbers of people are concerned) the nature of power to attain more.
This often comes at the expense of morals and social values, which is
the big fear when it comes to MS. The antitrust case was one example,
you just can't let anything grow too large without consequences for
everyone else. Ask yourself if you really want to live in a world where
business is dominated by Redmond, Orlando, or wherever the other huge
corporations are headquartered.

As much as I believe MS has wrong in the past, I think it is completely
ludicrous to believe they actually want to take over the world. MS may
be wrong (at times), but evil? This is not to say evil doesn't exist in
the world, of course it does, but to say (or imply) that an entire
corporation actually wants to rule the world.... just plain silly if you
ask me.

Do you really, truly, _honestly_ believe Disney is out to get you? Sure,
that talking Mickey tracks you (and do you have info on this, I haven't
heard of it). I assume they do that to gain data on where people visit.
They _don't_ do in order to plot their take over of the country.

Now getting off topic - we must remember that many things we lump
together w/ evil are just plain stupid. Take the record companies - many
people think they are wrong for jacking up the price of CDs and not
offering (well, not till lately) sales of singles. That is in no way an
evil act. It's just an act of stupidity for not realizing the gains they
could make cutting prices or offering digital downloads.
