(if they are unappropriate Mike, feel free to remove them) I added (nws) to the second name...) so anyway, today was....is.... almost impossible to put into words. It was the most intense thing I have ever done. The piercings themselves weren't too bad, we have two piercers working on each person, so two hooks are done at the same time. There is a small, small rush from the needles...nothing unlike any other piercing. Once I was finally knotted into the rig...and started to stretch my way down the ladder....it was like this total haze... I had my eyes closed, I could hear the people around me talking....but they seemed so far away. Once I started walking about on my toes, I lost track of exactly what position I was in.....which way I was facing...etc etc.. Once I was pretty much stretched, and pulled my feet up off of the ground, I had one last, very very strong surge of pain by hook #3, then everything became a bit dreamy..... it was pretty wild and definitely the break from reality I needed.
