Nope. It's just spoofing. It will look at an infected machine, search
the temp internet files and contact lists for email addresses and
domains. Then it does a dictionary hack on the domains to try and
replicate itself. At least that's what I understand. Mikey should have
more info since he has disected the virus.

If you get an email saying that you sent Sobig to someone, does that
really mean you did? I know some viruses will send email from A but use
a reply-to address of someone from A's address book.
