No, it doesn't.

My favorite tale like this is from a client of ours.  He recieved an
infected email from my boss.  Except my boss is on a Mac and couldn't get
that virus.  Turns out, the client had both my boss's email and an aliased
email (basically a forwarding address) both in his address book.  Yup,
folks, his infected email client tried to infect him again.

Anyhoo, several viruses (or virii) (including Sobig) will use an address
selected randomly from the address book as a from in order to help prevent
detection.
