Screw that p*ssy sh*t.

Hey Paul you would like to have a clearance right? I know most people
would. There are plenty of MOSs in the Army you can get that net you a
minimum of a secret clearance. Here's the kewlest part of the deal. The
National Guard has something called "try one" You enlist for one year, go
to drill, go to school (can be as long as 6 months, something like that,
they don't want to send you to the long schools if your not staying) and
pretty much be done, but leave with an honorable discharge, a VA Cert (good
to help buy that house) and your clearance.

Of course this all means you could end up deployed in some god forsaken
hole, and extended out to your term of service (umm I think it's 8 years).
I have never heard of this happening. Plus if you choose one of the soft
skills, like commo or whatever, those guys don't go away like infantry,
intel, sf, psyops, civil affairs and MPs.

I have a few friends that want to break into government contracts around
here and I keep telling them the same thing.

You might want to look into it man, try one is a good deal.

Oh no bonus or college money for 1 year I don't think.

Tim

I have a friend who is in a similar situation. However, he actually
JOINED the Chair Force and will be getting 14 weeks of tech training
before going to work for their computer geeks in an official capacity.
This is after a relaxing 6-week stint at boot camp, of course :)
