When I was 24, my fiancee ran off and left me to take care of our 1.5 year old daughter and thousands of dollars of debt. It's been 6 years, the debt is paid off and our daughter is healthy and well fed.
Johnny Cash's music is what I turned to, just after the Bible, when things got too rough; his songs were what made me see the dignity in my own circumstances. I dearly miss him already, I pray for his family, and know there will never be another like him.
