So, I'm working from home today with a very sick doggy at my feet. My
parents have an annual "grease party" where they set up two outdoor propane
burners and heat up a bunch of cooking oil and everyone brings something to
fry. We were there for that on Saturday, and as much as you tell people not
to feed the dog, people feed the dog.

Then, on Sunday morning, the grease was still siting outside (it was left
out to cool). Scully (the dog) was out on her tie-out, and she slipped her
collar and ate a bunch of the grease. *sigh* She's been puking all night.
She goes to the vet today at 11:30. Apparently, eating cooking oil can cause
acute pancreatitis.

I'm bummed.
