Larry,

I feel for ya man, I'm back on the job hunt again myself... have been since
August 12th. It's not a fun place to be, I hope they're doing at least
something for severance for ya.

This rings up an idea that I think was brought out some time ago but I can't
remember when or by whom. We're all developers at some level or another,
what would folks think about starting a team buisiness of our own... say
have a "master" company that would bid on projects and spec stuff out and
then a group of "subsidiaries" that would actually take on the work from the
master company. A subsidiary would only get paid for the work done and the
master would have to do work as well. Not sure how that kind of a business
plan would work but it's worth thinking about.

Ideas, comments, rants?

Hatton

Subject: this sucks

The company just announced that its closing its doors. As of today I am out
of a job. Anybody know of any immediate positions open in the Washington DC
area? It looks like I'll have to start looking again.
