Even Georgia O'Keefe would have said "Damn!" As far as calling the next day, we spent the last two hours of our first date holding hands in a park swing and talking about everything including seeing one another, which was an enthusiastic "yes" for both of us. The only reason why I waited until the following day was because I needed to first stop floating in the air and letting those big red cartoon hearts stream out of my chest. That took time. PS-- One year almost to the day of first meeting her, I proposed to her on bended knee at this very same park bench, ring and all. One more year almost to the day after that we married. We've been together now for twelve years.
