Back in the Good ole US of A

Well, Georgia is definitely cool! (not literally of course ;) ) Phil and our friend Adam are amazed at the amount of stores and shopping centers and malls packed in and around Marietta. Also, I thought the economy was bad? Every other vehicle is some $20,000-$60,000 SUV or huge pickup truck fully kitted with a cab, etc. Monster vehicles all shiny and you can practically smell the newness streaming off of all the vehicles. I've never seen so many Ford and Chevy trucks and SUV's in my life. Not even up in the tri-state area. Also, it seems everyone's favorite pastime is shopping. Thursday and Friday all the shopping centers were in full stride. I am afraid to see what they are like on a Saturday. Here I am, an American, completely amazed by America ...
