Well I realize that .... but even my $20,000 Bravada (with $6,000 down) was a $300 payment every month ... likely on the high side ... but we are still talking a decent chunk of cash every month PLUS the insurance for a $20k to 60k or 80k vehicle PLUS filling it up with gas every week. PLUS the housing payments, food, living, other credit card bills etc ... When you add it all up it's quite a lot.
