Anybody here understand LPR printing from Mac OSX? I've got a Xerox Networked p
rinter presently in the intranet DMZ that I know is accessible because I can hit
its web server on port 80 but cannot for the life of me get a remote Mac OSX com
puter to connect to for printing. I know port 515 is used for LPR but I just we
nt ahead and put the printer in the DMZ to eliminate any possible firewall probl
ems.

Any and all replies are appreciated.

Same with Iraq. How many have died? Most people will look at the ~300 US troops

and disregard the approximately 6,000 civilians. And 6,000 is on the low end of

the numbers I've seen. The larger numbers may or may not also include Iraqi troo
ps, but in my mind they are still casualties.

I found the statement on Vietnam very profound.

"Ask an American how many people died in Vietnam and they usually reply
58,000 (or there abouts)."

They ignore the Vietnamese deaths (around 3 million).

The program implied this is specifically down to US government propoganda.

I saw it, a very powerful documentary that should be seen by everyone
who votes whether in the UK or the USA.

Breaking the Silence - A Special Report by John Pilger

Documentary by war correspondent John Pilger investigating George
Bush`s

`war on terror`. Covering events in America, Afghanistan and Iraq, the

programme suggests that the US has waged a `cynical` war, and its
motives

are quite different to those that have been publicised since 11
September

2001.

Wow is this stuff scary. What it basically came down to was that the
world

would effectively divide into two super powers, USA and 'Public Opinion'
and

what in effect is currently happening in the US(and to some degree the
UK),

is that government is subverting public opinion away from the truth to

enable it to achieve its objectives.

It also implied the US was moving towards a pre-fascist state (some
people

were even concerned the US was already there).

It really piqued my interest. It even implied that the US would not have

gone to war with Iraq had the US press actually taken a more critical
line

and had not just towed the line.

Well at least in the UK, Blair is probably going to commit political
suicide

over the Hutton enquiry.
