Let me plug a project I have been working on. Last year, I started work on a ColdFusion lexer for Scintilla. If you are unfamiliar with the Scintilla, it is an open source IDE that is very popular with the Flash community. It runs on Linux and Windows, and is somewhat similar to Visual Basic's interface without the project view. It features color coding and hinting and runs much faster than similar open source projects. Anwyays, I was dissatisfied with other CF IDEs for Linux and chose to build my own using Scintilla as the base. The implementation is now just about current - I am adding CFMX support and working on extended features such as autocompletion and advanced code hinting. I am also working on a version with customizable keyboard shortcuts, for people like me who really need that feature. This is free software released under the GPL. The plan is to make the beta binaries public in the next few weeks, and if anyone is interested in testing / seeing the product, please let me know.
