Bunch of military types from here in DC.
I probably talked to 12 people, all of them officers. Everyone said they
were uncommitted, and would have to see how the campaign played out.
They seemed to like Clark, however, and I was surprised no one said they
were definitely voting Bush.
This really means nothing, and there is a lot of time before the
election. But I don't think this was without significance.

Subject: Military voting for bush in 04
I am curious if all the military folks who cast votes to put
bush into
power because they were disappointed with how clinton
let the military "slip" are now regretting there decisions?
There was
such a big deal mad back in 00 about all the votes from the
military
folks who
wanted bush to come in and fix up the military. I'm wondering if
current
military folks are rethinking that with the 1-3 deaths every
couple days
in iraq.
