It may be that the particular implementation has been quietly shelved due
to the technical issues outlined above, in favor of something like the

which strikes me offhand as the same sort of apparently good idea --
massive data, how can it be a bad thing? -- which is just as capable of
abuse.
BIG caveat, I do not make a career out of monitoring electronic privacy
