I guess it also depends on what you consider and out and out rant.

When listening to NPR, and it isn't simple reporting of news, a lot of times
I do hear what sound like rants. This of course is true for Fox as well.

Think about from your point of view, you don't always realize it is a rant
when you are nodding your head.

Any time there is an opinion offered by the reported it should not be
considered fact, regardless of what station they work for.

It is much more objective than any of the Fox related news stations. How
many times has Fox had to make a retraction? Now lets compare that to NPR.

How many out and out left wing rants have there been in a two hour segment
of All Things Considered in the last 2 months? Now lets compare that number
to the blatant right wing rants on Fox.

Now with those comparisons which network is biased?
