Ah, so Microsoft's now copying Mozilla!

Actually, it's not that simple, but anyone who didn't see this coming
once the basic premise of .NET was laid out just wasn't paying
attention.  I don't disagree with Microsoft - HTML sucks.  Maybe not
for, well, websites, but there are so many complex offerings online that
would benefit from a much more robust toolkit, it's no surprise that MS
is going to fan the flames of this.

I don't think it's a Flash killer at all.  If this takes off, MM can
easily spin Flash off as a highly mature component for developing apps
in this manner.
